Matthew Matt James, born December 5, 1991 from North Carolina. The parents of Matthew Matt James are Manny James as well as Patty James. He has a Nigerian father and a Caucasian woman. In 2010, James graduated in Sanderson High School and furthered to Wake Forest University where he obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics in the year 2015. James was a household name when he made his screen debut as an on-screen reality star during The Bachelorette. James was selected to be the next bachelor in The Bachelor season 25, becoming the show's first African American male star. The series premiered later that year. James's looks, height and personality were the perfect match for the part. Rachael Krkconnell was selected to be his partner for the entire season. In 2021, he was partnered by the famous dancer Arnold for season 30 of Dancing with the Stars. James as well as Arnold came in 12th place.
